Frequently asked questions

How does the Crystal Frame's transparency works?
White is transparent
Black is opaque
Grays are translucent
Colors are translucent
Does the Crystal Frame emits any light?

The Crystal Frame features an LCD membrane that functions similarly to a traditional light filter; it does not emit light on its own and therefore requires an external light source. To ensure optimal picture quality and effective transparency, a well-lit light box is recommended. Additionally, each Crystal Frame comes equipped with an LED spool that can be conveniently installed directly behind the frame, providing a complete lighting solution.

Can I use Crystal Frame in direct sunlight?

Direct sunlight can compromise the integrity of LCD screens due to UV rays. Prolonged exposure may lead to a yellowish tint and a loss of contrast.
